i ordered this textbook (inquiring about cities) to help me with distilling large concepts about cities into a digestible language for kids. some of it is super strange, but there are definitely some gems hidden inside...

when he isn't designing sick stuff for under armor that gets featured on espn, james is thinking of the kids. this design (for the say something poster contest) is a favorite.

one-way streets and tourist bubbles

my senior thesis is essentially taking all of the urban theory wisdom i've acquired from classes with dan d'oca and translating it into something that is digestible for kids. the main thing i'm working on is a textbook about baltimore, but in developing somewhat of a "curriculum" the process has taken me in some fun tangents, like these dry erase activity boards. special thanks to my fourth grade sounding board, briasia, who inspired me to make a potentially boring worksheet something that is fun to write on and use!
